। ॥ १२ ॥
In plain words
A true gem's difference lies in the adjunct set beside it; your difference lies in the differing minds. Moonlight's flickering lies in the water; your flickering lies there too, Viṣṇu.
Close to the Sanskrit
Just as the differentiatedness of genuine gems is in the limiting adjunct, so too is your differentiatedness in the differences of intellects. Just as the tremulousness of moonbeams is in the water, so too is your tremulousness here, O Viṣṇu.
