In plain words
Sometimes Śivā's names, or Śambhu's; sometimes Viṣṇu's too; sometimes the Lord of the Hosts'; and sometimes the names of the one whose boon is openly given — he chants a garland of names, the water of ānanda standing in his eyes. The sage, his darkness cut down by the Guru's dīkṣā, does not fall into vyāmoha.
Close to the Sanskrit
Of Śivā, or of Śambhu, at some time even; and of Viṣṇu too, sometimes; and of the Lord of the hosts as well; and sometimes of him whose boon is given openly — reciting indeed the garland of names, with the water of ānanda formed in his eyes, the sage, his darkness destroyed by the Guru's dīkṣā, does not fall into vyāmoha.
