। ॥ ८ ॥
In plain words
Sometimes he bathes with the waters of the Gaṅgā; sometimes with water drawn from a well; sometimes with water from a pond; sometimes with warm water, sometimes cold; and sometimes with camphor-white ash. The sage, his darkness cut away by the Guru's dīkṣā, does not fall into vyāmoha.
Close to the Sanskrit
Sometimes with the waters of the Gaṅgā, and somewhere even with water drawn up from a well, somewhere with water taken from a pond, and somewhere with warm water and with cold, taking his bath — and somewhere even with ash white as camphor — the sage, whose darkness has been cut away by the Guru's dīkṣā, does not fall into vyāmoha.
