Verse 5

In plain words

By his power Indra and the other gods overcome the demons; no being acts with a power truly independent of him. He can humble even victorious Indra, conqueror of Bala. May that Kṛṣṇa, refuge of all and Lord of the worlds, stand before my eyes.

Close to the Sanskrit

Indra and the other gods conquer the sons of Diti through his strength. No one has independence in any action apart from his action. He removes even the pride of victorious Indra, the enemy of Bala. May that refuge, Lord of the worlds, Kṛṣṇa, become the object of my eyes.
