विना यस्य ध्यानं व्रजति पशुतां सूकरमुखांविना यस्य ज्ञानं जनिमृतिभयं याति जनता ।विना यस्य स्मृत्या कृमिशतजनिं याति स विभुःशरण्यो लोकेशो मम भवतु कृष्णोऽक्षिविषयः ॥ ६ ॥
In plain words
Without meditating on him, you slide down into animal births, the pig and the rest. Without knowing him, the whole crowd of us walks straight into the fear of being born and dying. Without remembering him, you take a hundred births as a worm. That one — everywhere-present, the only refuge, Lord of the worlds — may Kṛṣṇa become what my eyes actually see.
