यदा धर्मग्लानिर्भवति जगतां क्षोभकरणीतदा लोकस्वामी प्रकटितवपुः सेतुधृदजः ।सतां धाता स्वच्छो निगमगणगीतो व्रजपतिःशरण्यो लोकेशो मम भवतु कृष्णोऽक्षिविषयः ॥ ८ ॥
In plain words
When dharma wears thin and the worlds go into turmoil, he steps into a body and shows himself: the unborn one who holds the embankment, who keeps the good standing, clear through and through, sung by every one of the Vedas, lord of Vraja, ruler of the worlds, the shelter worth running to. May Kṛṣṇa be what my eyes are looking at.

When there comes a withering of dharma that throws the worlds into turmoil, then the Lord of the world, his form made manifest, the unborn upholder of the embankment, the sustainer of the good, the utterly clear, sung of by the whole host of the Vedas, the lord of Vraja, worthy of refuge, ruler of the worlds — may that Kṛṣṇa become the object of my eyes.
