In plain words
Every instant, the thoughts of Buddhi — the intellect — are already something else, but Citi — consciousness — is not. As one thread runs through all the pearls, so does Citi run through every passing thought in Buddhi.
Close to the Sanskrit
Moment by moment the thought-forms of Buddhi — the intellect — have become otherwise; Citi, consciousness itself, however, has not. As a thread in pearls, so is Citi in the modifications of Buddhi.
