In plain words

Saṃsāra came at me as a forest fire, rank upon rank of towering flame, a whole mine of terror, and burned me down to the hair on my skin. I have come to the lotus of your feet, that flower risen out of the water. Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṃha — give me your hand to hold.

Close to the Sanskrit

Of me, whose body-hair has been utterly scorched by the rows of vast, terrifying flames — a very mine of terror — of the forest-fire-blaze that is saṃsāra, and who have come to the lake-born lotus of your feet: O Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṃha, give me the support of your hand.
