नान्येन तुलयेदेतत्स्तोत्रेणान्यकृतेन च ।श्रिय परम्परा यस्य भावि वा चोत्तरोत्तरम् । ।तेनैव लभ्यते चैतत्पश्चाच्छ्रेय परीक्षयेत् ।अस्या नाना त्रिशत्यास्तु महिमा केन वर्ण्यते ॥या स्वय शिवयोर्वक्त्रपद्माभ्यां परिनिःसृता ।नित्यं षोडशसंख्याकान्विप्रानादौ तु भोजयेत् ॥अभ्यक्तास्तिलतैलेन स्नातानुष्णेन वारिणा ।अभ्यर्च्य गन्धपुष्पाद्यै कामेश्वर्यादिनामभिः ॥सूपापूपै शर्कराद्यै पायसै फलसयुतै ।विद्याविदो विशेषेण भोजयेत्षोडश द्विजान् । ।एवं नित्यार्चन् कुर्यादादौ ब्राह्मणभोजनम् ।त्रिशतीनामभिः पश्चाद्ब्राह्मणान्क्रमशोऽर्चयेत् । ।तैलाभ्यङ्गादिक दत्वा विभवे सति भक्तित ।शुक्लप्रतिपदारभ्य पौर्णमास्यवधि क्रमात् ॥

Do not compare this hymn to any other composition made by anyone else. Continuous, ever-growing prosperity is won through this practice alone—examine the blessing and see for yourself. Who can fully describe the glory of this Trishati, which welled up straight from the lotus mouths of Shiva and Shakti? First, one should bathe and anoint sixteen learned brahmins with sesame oil and lukewarm water, honoring them with fragrant pastes and flowers while chanting names like Kameshwari. Serve them soups, cakes, sweets, rice puddings, and fruits, giving special care to those learned in sacred lore. Perform your daily worship by feeding the brahmins first, then worship them in order with the three hundred names. Offer them oil massages and gifts with heartfelt devotion according to your means, continuing daily from the first day of the bright fortnight until the full moon.

One should not compare this hymn with any other hymn composed by another. Prosperity, continuous and increasing ever higher, is obtained by this very practice alone; afterwards one should examine the spiritual good. Whose is this manifold glory of the Trishati, which emerged spontaneously from the lotus mouths of Shiva and Parvati? First of all, one should always feed sixteen learned brahmins, anointed with sesame oil, bathed in lukewarm water, worshipped with sandalwood, flowers and other items, using names beginning with Kameshwari, with lentil soups, pastries, sweets, milk puddings and fruits. One should feed sixteen qualified twice-born men, specifically knowing sacred lore. Thus one should perform daily worship with the initial feeding of brahmins; afterwards one should honor brahmins sequentially with the Trishati names, giving oil massage and other gifts with devotion when wealth permits, starting from the bright first lunar day up to the full moon day in regular order.
