In plain words

Throughout the sacred texts, the glory of this wisdom is sung in countless ways. The only knowledge that truly leads to ultimate liberation is Sri Vidya—of this there is no doubt. The title of 'wise' or 'learned' is never given to someone who merely possesses technical skills or worldly arts. True wisdom belongs only to those who know the science of liberation, which is Sri Vidya alone. Therefore, in this spiritual path, only the knower of this sacred Vidya is recognized as truly learned. A wise seeker should personally offer respect and gifts to such a knower, celebrating their spiritual virtues. If even someone who understands the inner secrets and the immense glory of this Vidya fails to honor its knower, who else in the world will show them reverence? This has been said as an important aside; now listen to our main subject, O Agastya. I shall describe the spiritual merit of anyone who chants these three hundred divine names even once with deep devotion. Listen closely, O jar-born sage: whatever spiritual reward is promised for reciting the entire secret thousand names of the Mother, that same fruit is multiplied ten million times by chanting just a single name of this Trishati—the three hundred names composed by Kamesvari and Kamesvara themselves.

Close to the Sanskrit

Thus in the mantras the greatness of the Vidya is spoken of in many ways. The Vidya which is the sole cause of liberation is indeed Sri Vidya, there is no doubt here. The word 'learned' is not applied to one who is merely possessed of knowledge of crafts and so on. The Vidya which is the sole cause of liberation is that Sri Vidya alone, there is no doubt. Therefore, only the knower of the Vidya is here called 'learned' and 'wise'. The wise person should personally give to the knower of the Vidya, praising his virtues. If one who personally knows the secret of the Vidya and also knows the greatness of the Vidya does not worship the knower of the Vidya, who else indeed among people would worship him? This has been spoken incidentally; listen to the main topic, O pot-born one. Whosoever recites even once with devotion this divine three hundred names, I shall speak his merit, listen, O pot-born one. Whatever fruit is declared for the recitation of the secret thousand names, that identical fruit multiplied ten million times is attained from the chanting of a single name (of this Trishati) composed by Kamesvari and Kamesvara, the three hundred names.
