जटिलो मुण्डी लुञ्छितकेशःकाषायाम्बरबहुकृतवेषः ।पश्यन्नपि च न पश्यति मूढोह्युदरनिमित्तं बहुकृतवेषः ॥ १४ ॥

One lets his hair mat into ropes. One shaves his head bare. One has his hair pulled out strand by strand. One wraps himself in ochre cloth — costume after costume after costume. And the fool looks straight at it and still does not see: every last outfit is for the sake of the belly.
