The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Mohamudgaraḥ

Verse 3

नारीस्तनभरनाभीदेशंदृष्ट्वा मा गा मोहावेशम् ।एतन्मांसवसादिविकारंमनसि विचिन्तय वारंवारम् ॥ ३ ॥

In plain words

You catch sight of a woman's body — the heavy breasts, the curve of the navel — and delusion takes hold of you. Don't go there. Flesh, fat, and whatever else: this is a thing made of those. Turn that over in your mind, again and again.

Close to the Sanskrit

Having seen the region of a woman's heavy breasts and navel, do not go into the possession of delusion. Reflect in the mind, again and again, that this is a modification of flesh, fat, and the rest.
