The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Muṇḍakopaniṣadbhāṣyam

Verse 7

In plain words

As a blazing fire sends forth thousands of sparks that share its nature, so, gentle friend, countless beings emerge from the Imperishable, and into that same Imperishable they dissolve again.

Close to the Sanskrit

That this truth is just as from a blazing fire sparks by thousands originate, sharing its form, so from the Imperishable, O gentle one, various beings are born, and into that very place they merge back.
