The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Nirguṇamānasapūjā

Verse 18

रजःसत्त्वतमोवृत्तित्यागरूपैस्तिलाक्षतैः ।आत्मलिङ्गं यजेन्नित्यं जीवन्मुक्तिप्रसिद्धये ॥ १८ ॥

In plain words

My sesame and unbroken rice are the letting go of every movement of mind that rajas, sattva and tamas set turning. With these I worship the liṅga that is the Self, unceasingly, so that mukti while still living becomes fully real.

Close to the Sanskrit

With sesame seeds and unbroken rice grains that have the form of the relinquishing of the mental modifications of rajas, sattva and tamas, one should worship the liṅga that is the Self constantly, for the accomplishment of liberation while living.
