The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Nirguṇamānasapūjā

Verse 24

In plain words

The knowledge that this Self is Brahman is the blazing sun of the intellect, and it shatters the darkness of ignorance. Here, that knowing is the lamp I circle before the Self.

Close to the Sanskrit

The blazing sun of the intellect, which is the shattering of the darkness of ignorance — the knowledge of the Self's Brahman-hood — is here the waving of lights for the Self.
