The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Nirguṇamānasapūjā

Verse 28

In plain words

The fitting service to offer the Self is this recognition, held steady: there is nothing left to do. And to rest the mind on the Self, which lies past every name and every form — that is the chanting of the Name.

Close to the Sanskrit

The true rite for the Self is declared to be the holding in mind of the absence of anything to be done; contemplation of the Self that has gone beyond name and form is the chanting of the Name.
