प्रमाणं भवाब्धेरिदं मामकानांनितम्बः कराभ्यां धृतो येन तस्मात् ।विधातुर्वसत्यै धृतो नाभिकोशःपरब्रह्मलिङ्गं भजे पाण्डुरङ्गम् ॥ 3 ॥
In plain words
"For those who are mine, the ocean of birth and death runs only this deep" — and so he holds his hips with both hands. And that cup at his navel he carries as a home for the Creator himself. I worship Pāṇḍuraṅga, the visible sign of the supreme Brahman.

"This is the measure of the ocean of worldly existence for those who are mine" — for that reason the hip was held with both hands by him; and the navel-cup was borne to be the dwelling of the Creator. I worship Pāṇḍuraṅga, the mark of the supreme Brahman.
