Verse 63

प्रात्यक्षदेवता का माता पूज्यो गुरुश्च कः तातः ।कः सर्वदेवतात्मा विद्याकर्मान्वितो विप्रः ॥ ६२ ॥

In plain words

Which god can you actually see? Your mother. Which teacher must you honour? Your father. Who carries all the gods in one body? The brāhmaṇa in whom learning and action are joined.

Close to the Sanskrit

Who is the directly visible deity? The mother. And who is the guru to be worshipped? The father. Who is the self of all the deities? The brāhmaṇa endowed with learning and action.
