In plain words

Give this Prauḍhānubhūtiḥ—realization ripened to fullness—only to a mind made beautiful by natural delight and ready understanding. Never give it to a corrupt intellect fed on the milk of Moha, delusion, or to a wicked heart. A ketakī flower shines by itself when placed on a noble head; if it falls into a monkey’s hand, does it shine there at all?

Close to the Sanskrit

To one whose mind is lovely through the single, easy awakening of natural savor, this Prauḍhānubhūtiḥ—mature realization—is indeed to be given, but not to one whose corrupt intellect is fed on the milk of Moha, delusion, nor to one whose inner disposition is wicked. This ketakī flower, placed upon the excellent head of a noble person, shines by itself; but if it falls into the region of a monkey’s hand, does it shine?
