। ॥ १८ ॥
In plain words
Listen deeply to Vedānta in Śravaṇa; test it by sound reasoning in Manana; make it a constant Yoga, a steady discipline. Then Ātman—the true Self—is directly seen.
Close to the Sanskrit
One should practise Vedānta-Śravaṇa—hearing the teaching—and Manana, reflection supported by sound reasoning; through Yoga, constant practice. From that comes the seeing of Ātman.
