In plain words
'Let him not go roaming about' — that is, let him not be eaten up by worry. Otherwise, in a place where there is no food, no water, nothing of the kind, he starts thinking, 'How on earth am I going to keep this body going?' — and he is burning with worry. And with that, yoga is not attained.
Close to the Sanskrit
'Let him not roam about' — let him not become distressed. Otherwise, in a place devoid of food, drink and the rest, he would become distressed, thinking, 'How indeed will the body's upkeep be managed?'; and from that, there is no attainment of yoga.
