Meditation is the unbroken, continuous flow of the mind toward an auspicious support, such as a sacred symbol or form, steady like a stream of oil. Absorption (samādhi) is abiding as one's natural essence—non-dual consciousness, existence, and bliss—having dissolved the waking and other states through the sacred syllable Om.
