हे भारत, इन्द्रियेभ्यः सविषयेभ्यः पञ्चभ्यः वर्तमानेभ्यः मनसश्चैव तथा अतीतेभ्यः अनागतेभ्यश्च मुक्तश्चेत्, स सुखी भवेत् मुक्त एव भवेदित्यर्थः ॥
In plain words
Bhārata, if you are free of the five senses along with everything they reach for — free of them as they are working now, free of the mind too, and just as much free of them as they were and as they will be — then you are happy. Which is to say: then you are free.
Close to the Sanskrit
O Bhārata, if one is released from the five senses together with their objects, the present ones, and from the mind as well, likewise from the past ones and the ones yet to come, he would be happy — the meaning is, he would indeed be liberated.
