भवेदेतदेवं यदि, तदेव ब्रह्म सिध्येत्; न च सिध्यति, अन्यपरत्वाद्वेदस्य इति; तत्राह—

This would be so if brahman alone were established by the Vedas; but it is not, because the Vedas have another purport. To this objection, he replies:
