नन्वेवं तर्हि ‘वेदेन वेदं न विदुर्न वेद्यम्’ इति वदता अनात्मविदः प्रपञ्चासिद्धिरेवेत्युक्तं भवति इत्याशङ्क्याह—

But wait — if that is how it stands, then whoever says "they do not know the Veda by means of the Veda, nor what is to be known" is in effect saying this: for a person who does not know the Self, the whole spread-out world is simply never established at all. Anticipating that objection, he says—
