Just as a honey-bee consumes the nectar it has gathered over a fortnight during the following fortnight, so too this wandering soul, caught in worldly existence, consumes the karmic nectar accumulated from past times. In other words, it reaps in a subsequent birth the actions accumulated in a previous one.
