। ॥ २३२ ॥
In plain words
"Just as a traveler might stumble upon a stray jewel on the road, if liberation somehow happens to come my way, how lucky I will be!" Such a passive, wishful thought in an ignorant mind is known as the lowest intensity of longing for freedom.
Close to the Sanskrit
Like a traveler finding a jewel on the path, if liberation should come to me, then I am fortunate—such is the attitude of the deluded; this is considered the extremely mild desire for liberation.
