In plain words

When a limiting adjunct is present, the self appears to have similar kinds alongside it. But because that adjunct is as unreal as a dream, when it vanishes, this very self merges into absolute oneness with Brahman and shines no longer as a separate thing. Thus, no internal division remains.

When an adjunct exists, the non-different self then shines forth like something of the same kind. Because of its falsity like a dream-object, upon the non-perception of that, this self itself attains oneness with Brahman and does not shine separately; hence division made by homogeneity does not exist.
