Scripture itself declares the oneness of these two — That and you — and it declares it as its whole point, not as an aside. "That you are": said again, and again, and again. So take śruti at its word.

By scripture too the oneness of these two is declared as its very purport; and since 'That thou art' is said repeatedly, therefore the word of scripture is to be accepted.
