बीजान्यग्निप्रदग्धानि न रोहन्ति यथा पुनः ।ज्ञानदग्धैस्तथा क्लेशैर्नात्मा सम्पद्यते पुनः ॥ ८५० ॥

Burn a seed through in fire and it will never sprout again. In just that way, once knowledge has burnt the kleśas through, the ātman never comes into being again.

Just as seeds thoroughly burnt by fire do not sprout again, so, the afflictions having been burnt by knowledge, the Self does not come into being again.
