। ॥ २१ ॥

In plain words

The true giver in this world feeds the thin, needy visitor who comes to the house. Food becomes abundant for such a person in sacrifice, and one becomes Ajātaśatru—one against whom no enemy is born. Whoever will not give food to a friend who asks is no friend at all. Turn away from the miser who refuses one who comes repeatedly in need.

Close to the Sanskrit

In the world, he alone is the true enjoyer who offers food to the needy suppliant who has come to the house; for him, full food becomes assured in sacrifice and he is born as one without an enemy. Not so in friendship; he who does not offer food to one asking, he is no friend. From such a miser who turns away indifferent from one who approaches constantly, one should desire withdrawal.
