। ॥ २२ ॥
In plain words
A devotee begins, 'Bhavānī, look with compassion on me, your servant,' but no sooner have the words bhavāni tvam—'may I become you'—left his lips than you grant him Sāyujya, oneness with yourself. There your feet shine in light from the crowns of Mukunda, Brahmā, and Indra.
Close to the Sanskrit
Someone wishing to praise you, 'O Bhavānī, bestow a compassionate glance upon me, your servant,' says only bhavāni tvam—'may I become you.' At that very moment you grant him your own path of Sāyujya, union with you, your feet illumined by the radiant crowns of Mukunda, Brahmā, and Indra.
