। ॥ १० ॥
In plain words
For someone who has surrendered, there is no shelter but you — hold that thought and be gracious; remembering it, strike down my wretchedness. And if you do not, your Bhakta-vātsalya — tenderness toward your devotees — suffers loss. So, merciful one, stay near me — always.
Close to the Sanskrit
“For one who has taken refuge there is no protector other than you” — remembering this, be gracious; with that very remembrance, may you strike down my wretchedness. If not, there would be a loss of your Bhakta-vātsalya, your tenderness toward your devotees; therefore, O compassionate one, always stay close to me.
