The time for giving is now, and I am the bowl held out. You alone are the giver; I ask no one but you. Give me Bhakti — devotion fixed firmly on you alone. Compassion is your very nature, Śambhu, and so I am fulfilled.

This is the time for giving, and I am the vessel for the gift; you alone are the giver, and I beg from no one other than you. Give me Bhakti toward you alone, firm devotion — O you whose nature is compassion, O Śambhu, therefore I am fulfilled.
