In plain words
No beginning, no end; first of all things; supreme; Tattva, Reality itself; the one goal. Its form is Cit, pure consciousness. One. Turīya, the Fourth, past all measuring. What Viṣṇu and Brahmā went searching for. The very form of Parabrahman, the supreme Brahman. Beyond thought, beyond words — that Light which is Śiva, I praise.
Close to the Sanskrit
Beginningless and endless, primal, supreme, Tattva — Reality itself — the Goal, whose form is Cit, pure consciousness, one, Turīya, the Fourth, and immeasurable; sought by Hari and Brahmā, whose form is Parabrahman, the supreme Brahman, beyond mind and speech — the Light of Śiva I praise.
