In plain words

You hold the antelope in your hand; you make things auspicious — to you, namaḥ śivāya. Your servants have already crossed the ocean of trouble — to you, namaḥ śivāya. To those terrified by the mire you hand fearlessness — to you, namaḥ śivāya. Your face is a lotus, Śaṅkara, maker of peace — to you, namaḥ śivāya.
