Verse 7

कामनाशनाय शुद्धकर्मणे नमः शिवायसामगानजायमानशर्मणे नमः शिवाय ।हेमकान्तिचाकचक्यवर्मणे नमः शिवायसामजासुराङ्गलब्धचर्मणे नमः शिवाय ॥ ७ ॥

In plain words

He undoes desire; his every act is clean — homage to Śiva. The Sāman is sung, and his gladness rises with the song — homage to Śiva. His armour throws back light like burnished gold — homage to Śiva. The elephant-demon's hide, taken from its body, is what he wears — homage to Śiva.

To the destroyer of desire, to him whose action is pure — homage to Śiva. To him whose bliss arises from the singing of the Sāman chants — homage to Śiva. To him whose armour flashes with the brilliance of gold — homage to Śiva. To him whose hide was taken from the body of the elephant-demon — homage to Śiva.
