। ॥ १८ ॥
In plain words
You alone give the worlds their final reward. Hari and the gods at the head of things hold divine offices whose root is in you — and still they come back to worship you, again and again. How vast your generosity is, Śiva, and how little I am asking for. When will you take on the care of me, with that glance brimming with compassion?
Close to the Sanskrit
You alone are the giver of the supreme fruit to the worlds. Bearing the divine station that is rooted in you, Hari and the other gods worship you again and again. How great, indeed, is your generosity, O Śiva — and how small my hope! When will you bear the protection of me with an eye filled with compassion?
