In plain words
There is a lake, and the lake is meditation on Śambhu. Eternal bliss has pooled there as its water. The heart-lotuses of gods and sages stand rooted in it. It is clear all the way down; the finest twice-born ones come to it; the good impressions that carry impurity away have made it plain and fragrant. Go there, mind. You are a crest-jewel among swans — go, and go steadily. Or will you keep circling those paltry little puddles until all you have to show is exhaustion?

Why will you obtain the weariness born of circling in puddles, those paltry refuges?
