In plain words

May the gods’ glorious Pināka bow protect us always and freely. They say its very form gathers the distilled essence of every god: Viṣṇu, bearer of Śārṅga and ever watchful over the worlds, became its arrow; the king of serpents became its string; the triple cities became its target. May that bow cleave away everything inauspicious.

Whose essential form they declare to be the union of the innermost substance of all the gods; whose arrow became the bearer of Śārṅga, vigilant in protecting the worlds; whose bowstring is the foremost of serpents, and whose target was the triad of cities—may that glorious Pināka bow of the gods, the cleaver of all that is inauspicious, protect us ceaselessly and without reserve.
