In plain words
White as jasmine opened fully, its radiance fills the world. Perfectly round, it pours out, again and again, the highest peace in which sorrow ends upon everyone who seeks refuge at Śiva’s feet. Nandī’s jeweled arm carries it gladly over the Foe of the Three Cities. May that cool-rayed white parasol sweep away the calamities that scorch us.

Shining, having pervaded the universe with its radiance white as fully blossomed jasmine flowers; round in form; spreading out, again and again, the supreme cessation-of-sorrow for those who resort to his feet; joyfully borne by Nandī’s jewel-braceleted arm—may that cool-rayed one named the White Parasol of the Foe of the Citadels carry away our scorching calamities.
