In plain words

At life's beginning, because of Karma—the force of past action—Jātavedas, the fire in the belly, stains me with impurity as I lie in my mother's womb and boils me without cease amid excrement, urine, and filth. Who could put into words each pain that torments me there? Forgive my offense: Śiva, Śiva, Śiva, O Śrī Mahādeva, Śambhu.

Close to the Sanskrit

In the beginning, through the consequence of Karma—past action—the gastric Jātavedas—the digestive fire—makes me impure while I remain in the mother's womb; amid feces, urine and filth it boils me intensely. Whatever suffering there torments me intensely—by whom can it be told? My offense is to be forgiven: Śiva, Śiva, Śiva, O Śrī Mahādeva, Śambhu.
