In plain words

Always a child, and the mountain of obstacles falls anyway. A great elephant's face, and the five-faced Lord bows to it anyway. Brahmā, Indra, the whole company of gods — still searching. Gaṇeśa is the name it answers to. Some form or other, made entirely of blessing, past my describing: let it hand me my share of good fortune.

Close to the Sanskrit

Though always of childlike form, yet the destroyer of the mountain of obstacles; though bearing the face of a great elephant, yet honoured by the five-faced one; sought after by Brahmā, Indra and the rest; whose name is Gaṇeśa — may that indefinable auspicious form grant prosperity to me.
