In plain words
I know nothing of words, nothing of what they mean. I know nothing of verse, nothing of prose. One awareness, wearing six faces, is shining in my heart — and out of my mouth the words keep coming. How strange.
Close to the Sanskrit
I do not know word, and I do not know meaning; I do not know verse, I do not know prose. One consciousness, six-faced, shines in my heart; and even so, words issue forth from my mouth — a wonder!
