In plain words
On the shore of the vast ocean stands the hill called Sugandha — a thief that steals great sins away, a friend to the greatest of sages. In its cave he lives, lit by nothing but his own light, taking away the pain of everyone who comes. That one — Guha, the cave-dweller — we take refuge in him.
