The Octad of Inquiry into Your Own Nature, also called The Boat of Knowledge. — Austerity, sacrifice, giving and the rest have made his mind clean; desire no longer pulls him. A throne and everything like it he sees as worth nothing, so he lets the whole of it go. And what he reaches then is the real: Brahman, supreme, eternal. That, and nothing else, is what I am.
