In plain words
All the guarding of the world, all the teaching of it, is taken in by one unhurried look — and that look is play. Its glory is what I am. And when night stops and day stops, something goes on shining of its own accord. That shining is my proof. By it I stand: I am.
Close to the Sanskrit
I am the greatness of the play-glance by which the arranging of protection and the giving of instruction are surveyed. I am the one established by the proof of the experience that shines forth at the ceasing of night and day.
