In plain words
Food, breath, mind, intellect, bliss: five sheaths, each one nested inside the one before it. Sift them apart with viveka, and the Self takes up what was always its place — the light in which all five stand revealed.
Close to the Sanskrit
Of the five sheaths — food, prāṇa, mind-made, knowing, bliss — which occupy the interior of each one in turn, the Self, through discrimination, attains the state of being the light.
