The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Svātmaprakāśikā

Verse 26

In plain words

Let the body do what bodies do. Let the mouth run on here about nothing. Let the mind sit dreaming of a kingdom if it likes. I am already full — what loss could any of it be to me?

Close to the Sanskrit

Let the body perform actions; let speech be uttered here in vain; or let the intellect dwell upon a kingdom — for me, who am full, what loss is there?
