Taittirīyopaniṣadbhāṣyam

Verse 5

अथाध्यात्मम् ।अधरा हनुः पूर्व्वरू-पम् ।उत्तरा हनुरुत्तररूपम् ।वाक्सन्धि ।जिह्वा सन्धानम् ।इत्यध्यात्मम् ।इतीमामहास५हिता ।य एवमेता महास५हि-ता व्याख्याता वेद ।संधीयते प्रजयापशुभि ।ब्रह्मवर्चसेनान्नाद्येन सुवर्गेणलोकेन ॥ ४ ॥

In plain words

Now regarding the inner self: the lower jaw is the preceding element, the upper jaw is the succeeding element, speech is the junction, and the tongue is the connecting instrument. Thus concludes the domain of the self. These are the grand connections. Whoever understands these great connections in this manner becomes united with offspring, with livestock, with spiritual brilliance, with abundant food, and with the heavenly world.

Thus these are the great connections. Whoever knows thus these great connections as explained, he is united with progeny, with cattle, with spiritual radiance, with food, with the heavenly world.
